
Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is currently under construction in Los Angeles, California.
It reopens on December 14, 2020, and it is the nation’s first large museum dedicated to science, craft, business, and film history.

Academy Museum of Motion Pictures logo is the principal corporate identifier. The emblem comprises two elements, the logotype, and the symbol.

Five lines stand for the abstract shape of the movie frames, and the negative figure represents the abstract shape of the Academy main build and the theater dome.
All elements are in fixed positions as shown and should not be altered. The visual style of peripheral products should be compatible with but distinct from the Oscar or Hollywood.
We are using the idea of the LA landmark as the main design inspiration to explore. Victual area of exploration includes, but is not limited to, Humanity; Los Angeles Landmark; Educational; Historical.
